Individuals may volunteer to help LEE carry out its activities and may contribute to the cause.
Gifts can be made in several ways:
- By making a cash gift or a pledge which can be paid over a three- to five-year period.
- By contributing appreciated securities, e.g. stocks, mutual funds, etc. This method allows the donor to receive a tax deduction for the full amount contributed even though he or she may have paid substantially less for the securities.
- By contributing real estate or other items of value, such as artwork or jewelry which can then be sold. Again, a substantial tax benefit may be available to the donor who chooses this method.
In addition to making a gift now, individuals may consider including Life Enrichment for Elders, Inc. in their will or through another planned giving method.
As an approved non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, all gifts are tax deductible. For more details on giving, consult your accountant, attorney or financial planner.
